You can skip work and support a good cause all at once: call in gay on Wednesday, 12/10! Though I'm not sure how that conversation would work ("Hi, boss, I'm not going to make it into the office today...I'm gay."), surely showing your support of same-sex marriage is worth the subsequent workplace awkwardness!
Even if you don't take the day off, have a happy Day Without a Gay!
