The wonderous, wonderful wombat.

The wombat is a captivating being and has inspired creations from books to wines. A sampling of the wonder that is the wombat:

• Mister Wombat is a stuffed wombat who has traveled the world. You can follow his adventures on his website.
• The Wombies feature in a comic strip about genetically engineered wombats who "live on Spam, Wine Gums, and chocolate." Their virtual home is called Wombania.
• There are several wombat-oriented vineyards, including the Wombat Creek Winery.
• There's a Wombat Bar in Brooklyn.
